Open Task Manager, click PLAY, the Valorant Bootstrap exe starts, then fails to load Vanguard and it quits/ disappears from Task Manager, and game doesn't start. Finally narrowed down to my security software Comodo firewall and was able to solve this problem with help from Comodo (after weeks of back and forth with Riot's support that led to nowhere.)įirst check to see if my description of the problem fits yours.Īfter clicking PLAY on the Valorant launcher, nothing happens. Riot posted on their Twitter saying it's related to Faceit client, but I don't even have Faceit so that didn't help.
Latest few Vanguard updates are so broken, first it was BSOD then game fails to launch, silently crashing with no error message.
