In trying to resolve the problem, I tried installing OpenCV 2.4.11 but it also gave this error. However I need ffmpeg support due to the nature of my work. However without ffmpeg support it works fine. home/uujjwal/libraries/opencv-nogpu/opencv-3.0.0/modules/videoio/src/cap_ffmpeg_impl.hpp:1556:83: error: use of enum 'AVCodecID' without previous declaration

I then downloaded the latest stable version of OpenCV 3.0.0 and configured it using ccmake. configure -prefix=$HOME -enable-shared -enable-pic For more information I compiled FFMPEG with following options. I installed it in $HOME, and so in $HOME/lib there are the library files installed. In my home folder, I installed FFMPEG (latest stable version available on ffmpeg site). However I have recently changed my system to a cluster where I do not have any admin permission. Hope this clarifies the build & run process of the unix samples.I have been using OpenCV for a while. The mkfifo calls won’t be required again in the next SDK update, as the samples will create the fifo themselves. You shouldn’t have to modify any file to be able to run the samples, you just need to have the good packages installed on your computer. The Makefiles in the samples are no longer used and will be removed in the next SDK update.out/Unix-base/staging/usr/bin/BebopDroneDecodeStream out/Unix-base/staging/native-wrapper.sh. Here is an example for the BebopDroneDecodeStream sample (still in the same folder !):

If this succeeds without error, then it means that you have all the required libraries.įrom this point, you can run the samples (but don’t forget to create the fifos as Djavan pointed). I just tried on my own computer (no virtual machine), with a fresh SDK install in a new folder: Considering your last log, it seems that the issue is coming from network connectivity (the sample does not recieve data from the drone), and not from any build-related or library-related issue … I guess you’re running the samples in a virtual machine ? If yes, what’s the host OS ? What kind of wireless adapter do you use (USB, integrated, …) ?
